We’ve been married a little over a year now! It’s so crazy how fast this year flew by and how recent the wedding still feels. Looking back on our wedding weekend brings back such amazing memories. We were truly able to disconnect from everything and had the best time with our friends and family.
The wedding was in Western Colorado about 45 minutes outside of Grand Junction. The area is a combination of high desert/mountain scenery and it is unreal how beautiful the summers are.
Andrew and I were engaged for about three years, so after all that time spent planning, it was amazing to see how it all came together. I love how the venue, flowers, lace, and other details combined to create the romantic, dreamy vibes we wanted.
Our ceremony had the most gorgeous backdrop! We opted out of doing a traditional arch and kept the rest of the ceremony decor simple so that the scenery could really shine.
One of my favorite parts of the entire weekend was catching up with my best friends. Most of us went to college together and moved apart after graduation. Since we’re rarely all in the same place at the same time, it was so fun to be reunited for the wedding weekend!
From the venue, to the decor, to the food, Andrew and I couldn’t have dreamt of a better day. There were definitely a few hiccups the day of, but they were so minor that I didn’t even know about them until the day after the wedding. Looking back, I’m still so obsessed and happy with how everything turned out!
Expect plenty of wedding posts with more details, but here are some of our vendors – I would recommend every one of them if you’re planning a Colorado wedding!
